Well, like Jared said, you are probably doing it from the DVD. Dont do that on a laptop; every time HB goes to read the DVD, it's having to spin up the dvd drive on the MBP. Now, for my question. What's the easiest way to combine two .avis (like, say, Elf.cd1.avi and Elf.cd2.avi) into one without reëncoding?
