(assuming that "your kids" are old enough to be left alone. you can substitute "kids" and drop "yours" if needed..) Do you have matches in the house? You kids could set the house on fire right now. Do you own a steak knife? Your kids could stab someone. Heck, if you have a chain saw how do I know your not going to all horror movie on me? Would you get rid of matches and steak knives if your neighbor objected just because you own something that "could" be used in a criminal way? That just makes no sense. Assuming you are a law abiding citizen, why should I fear any tool that you own. I know you are a good person, I know that you bear no ill will towards me, so why should I care what you have? It like, why does everyone obsess on the the last resort usage as if it is the ONLY usage. I've seen estimates that firearms are used to prevent as many as 2 million crimes a year where they are simply 'brandished' not fired. Firearms are used to prevent death and save lives. Since that is how they are mostly used why not focus on that? Every time a policeman draws his gun he hopes that the threat will be all it takes to get the bad guy to surrender. Police shootings are rare for a reason. =c= _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
