Indeed. There is a lot of griping about the UK NHS. When it was
started and for a long time thereafter, it was "weltführend"
(world-leading). Its still not at all shabby unless you compare it to
the very very best - and as Jared says, its much better than the US
system.

Its always interesting to hear Chuck whinge about the standards in
other countries. Perhaps he should go on a Wim Wenders style trans-US
investigative trip. Maybe then he'll wake up to the level of poverty
in vast swathes of the land of the free.
