Hola, nutters! I've been doing some creative writing. Nothing technical, so no need for footnotes or references. I like to write in my library (a converted bedroom with tons of books, my MacBook Pro, and a messy desk). I also like to write in the kitchen, while I'm cooking, waiting for the jelly to gel or water to boil. I write in the gazebo in my yard. I write by the pool, laying in the sun. You get the idea--I write all the time and I like to be able to have my work with me. But I don't like to risk spilling hasenpfeffer on my MacBook Pro. Or getting sand in my keyboard. Or even getting caught in the rain with my laptop (which is usually a great time to write).
So, I'm thinking about getting an iPad. But I'm wondering about apps and printing and whatnot. I need to be able to write, backup, print, edit. Maybe save to pdf or .doc. It looks perfect. But how does it work? I'd love to hear your thoughts, folks.
