I disagree. Plex is a massive resource hog on the serving computer, even if it 
not being used.

AirVideo uses no processing when idle, and can server multiple streams on the 
LAN and the Internet even on my 6 year old Mac Pro. It maxes out at 1 1080p and 
2 720p streams. The i7 quad core can serve three 1080p streams with ease.

Plex gives you more searching abilities, but at a rather high cost.
