Hi, 

I assume you're referring to OpticalCalibration application.

Parameters such as alpha and beta (gain and bias), solar illumination, ..., 
are provided by metadata that usually come with remote sensing images.
Users have also the possibility to set these parameters manually; this is 
where the files you mentioned come. So you must provide them yourself, on 
the basis of what you know about the sensor.

You will be able to find useful information by reading the 
OpticalCalibration documentation.
For instance, *atmosphericCorrectionSequencement_alpha_beta.txt* is related 
to *gainbias.txt* in this documentation; these values are used to convert 
digital numbers to spectral radiance (in W/m2/steradians/micrometers)...
