Hi Fabrice,

OTRS is not able to do this, the best way is to create a mailing list of the email address you use for the feeding email address and then create 2 accounts, one OTRS picks up from and another that is an archive mailbox.

e.g.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
                   -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]

We have this setup and it works smoothly. Having mail left on the server using POP is a nasty way to do it, if the email server was having a bad day you could end up with lots of duplicate emails/tickets everytime it polled the mailbox.

Hope this helps

Steve

Hello everybody,

My apologies if the question was asked previously, but I didnt found an easy way to search trough archives.

I wanted to know I f there is a way to keep the mail popped by OTRS in my mailbox on Exchange 2007 ?

It will be used to backup every email sent and received by OTRS, and for techs to connect on this box with Outlook.

Thanks for your answers.

Fabrice.
