Dear Mohamed, Check out configuring the cronjobs in the installation guide. One of the commands being scheduled is to retrieve e-mail.

Subject: Re: [otrs] POP3 SSL Installation Dear David, Thanks for your help. I tried it and it didn't work. Finally while googling I stumbled upon installing perl modules via package manager in ubuntu. I tried that and it works now. Thanks to everyone for all your help, really appreciate it. On another note, the tickets are only created if I go postmaster mail account and click "run now". Is this normal? Could this be made to look for new mails automatically? Subject: Re: [otrs] POP3 SSL Installation Hi Zak, Sometimes I've had problems with installing PERL modules through CPAN, and had to resort to installing them manually. Download the module from http://search.cpan.org/CPAN/authors/id/S/SU/SULLR/IO-Socket-SSL-1.31.tar.gz - then install as per the instructions on this site: http://www.thegeekstuff.com/2008/09/how-to-install-perl-modules-manually-and-using-cpan-command/ as root. Good luck! David Mohamed Zakaria wrote: > Hi, > > Can anyone help me with this?
