Hi everyone, There is a weekly meeting on IRC for OVN developers: https://www.ovn.org/en/#irc-meetings . Recently, we have seen sparse attendance of this meeting. I brought this up during the OVN developers' community call on Monday. We didn't have a huge attendance for that call, so I figured that I would bring this topic up here on the mailing list.
What I'm curious about is what changes might we need to make to get people interested in attending. Do we need to change the time? It's currently 6:15PM for Western Europe, and even later if you live farther east. Do we need to move away from IRC? I personally open IRC once per week to attend this meeting but don't use it for anything else. Would a different medium work better? Do we need to have it less frequently? We have the meeting weekly, but maybe changing to every two weeks would make more sense? Do we need to change the format of the meeting? Currently, it works sort of like a scrum "stand-up" meeting, with everyone giving updates about what they're working on, and further discussions spinning off from there. Maybe something else would be better? Let me know what you think, and if we get something resembling a consensus, we can make some changes.
