Maybe it would help to remind people of its existence on the dev mailing
list a few times on Thursdays? I try do that for the OVN A/V technical
meeting and I like to think it helps and that I'm not spamming the list
for nothing.

I'm in the "it's an awkward time for a meeting, around dinner time" camp
but OTOH it's already quite early in the morning for people on the west
coast of the US. I'm not sure we can ever find a perfect time.

Occasionally I see some people trying to ask OVN related questions on
the Libera IRC channel (logs:
https://libera.catirclogs.org/openvswitch/2026-09-11). However, me too,
I usually only log into that IRC instance for the OVN meeting and that's it.

FTR, I'm not against this but I wonder if it wouldn't actually reduce
attendance even further because people would have to remember whether
it's an odd or even week.

I think this depends whether we'll have other people joining. For now,
when people do join, it's usually established community members and the
scrum stand-up-like method seems OK to me. Just noting though, the
format is not that strict, we do have "random" open discussions every
now and then.

Thanks for bringing this up, Mark! Personally I'd love to see more
attendance in any of the community meetings.

Regards,
Dumitru
