Hello! I confess I have not used Subversion (or svn or SVN) myself at all. I typically use the CVS client that my distribution comes with. It's only fairly recently that it added the Subversion client to its development collection. I believe it was added because there are those individuals who want to work with the bleeding edge of the Linux Kernel. More that, then the regular projects that live on SF. That's my opinion BTW.
I do know that both are easier to use then Arch. A project that I am loosely associated with was originally using CVS, then went to Arch, and finally gave it up, and then ended up with SVN. That because they found it impossible to create the necessary patch files that are part of the entire method of using a RCS system. As far as the statistics methods go, we'd need to go over what sparse documentation SF has created on the whole business. Let me put it to you this way Paul, if you yourself decide to go to this method of keeping score regarding which is what regarding the code, then I will support it. --- Gregg C Levine [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- "Remember the Force will be with you.
