Ok, so since the code doesn't seem to work reliably with my serial
DS9097U, I thought I'd try my USB DS2490 instead.
So the bus does seem to show up ok, but humidity shows up as negative.
What's going on?
gargamel:~# cat /owfs/26.E836F5000000/{IAD,VAD,VDD,temperature,humidity}; echo
0 0.01 4.68 60.9125 -26.695
Incidently, diigitemp wasn't able to compute humidity over the USB
interface either, which was one of the reasons I was looking at
switching to owfs.
So, it looks like I'm between a rock and a hard place: the serial
interface won't work reliably with owfs, and the USB one won't show
humidity.
For now, the only thing I have and that works is digitemp+serial.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Marc
