Hi! In a posting from late 2009 [1], someone managed to use the alarm mode of a DS2406 (but not DS2408).
My Question: How does it work on the DS2406, and has it been fixed for the DS2408? I tried it on a DS2406, channel B, wich is currently showing "1" for sensed: echo 230 > set_alarm Now I do "ls" in /mnt/1wire/bus.0/alarm and find several nodes (all of my ds18s20 temperature sensors and 2-3 of my three ds2406). This is too much! I haven't even yet changed the sensor input, but after changing the sensed value to 0, there is no change either. I use a ds2480B serial interface (via USB RS232 adaptor) and owfs 2.7p13.
