Hi Mick,

Unfortunately, I have exactly the same problem here. Devices are missing especially after some error occurs on a bus. Somebody believe that it is owfs bug, but nobody knows how to fix it. I tried to place some decoupling capacitors to reduce errors without great luck. Now I just restart owserver every 3 hours and this makes my system more stable. Three is a thread here about construction USB - i2c - 1wire hub, but the approach should be tested.

How many devices do you have on a bus?

Sorry, yes that is important info:)

    Ubuntu 10.10 server
    owfs version: 2.8p13
    libow version: 2.8p13
    DS9490R USB busmaster
    Hobbyboards 6 channel hub

The problem sensors are all on the same channel, but is is not all of
    the sensors on that channel.

I used to use a DS9097U and don't remember seeing the problem then.
That just packed up completely which is why I changed

    Cheers
    Mick
