Perhaps this is related to the problems that I reported a few years ago, when I had a number of hubs, long wires and many sensors, which over a few hours would go missing. Restarting owserver made them come back. I eventually "fixed" this by replacing the 1-wire hubs with usb hubs instead and 18 1-wire adapters, which was a good move anyway to increase stability (i.e. one short on one run wont affect other runs) and to increase speed/parallelism. Anyway, I still have a couple of hubs left in other setups which happen to be stable now after juggling a bit with owfs versions and topology, but I dare not add sensors. If owfs now is able to correct these issues itself now, that's really great news! -- Steinar ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
