Hello Paul,
The MSBit (bit 7) of the DS1825 Configuration register always reports a
value of 0. And I have confirmed that the MSBit of the MAX31826's
Configuration register is always a 1. So you could use bit 7 as the
identifier bit between a DS1825 and a MAX31826.
