I have a 6 channel hub working. When you look at the network you should see a directory for the hub and separate directories for 3 channels, then in each of the 3 channel directories you should see a 'main' and an 'aux' directory. Your sensors should be in one of those.

Also in each channel directory there is a 'control', mine is set to 2. I have a feeling that this allows you to enable/disable the channel, but I don't have any details. May be worth playing with that.

I have some info on the hub, which is attached.

Cheers
Mick

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help.

I'm running OWFS ver 2.7p32 on a Raspberry Pi.
Using a LinkUSB device, I've been successfully monitoring a couple of temp
sensors for months.

Ages ago I bought a Hobbyboards 6 channel hub, but have only just got round to
using it.

If I connect my LinkUSB to the IN terminal, and my existing 1-wire bus to the
OUT ie just pass-through) it all continues to work fine.
I can see my existing temp sensors and the 3 x DS2409 devices of the hub.

But if I connect my bus to one of the hub branches - eg Channel 1 main, then
nothing happens.
No sign of my temp devices anywhere below the DS2409 main or aux directories.
If cat "branch.0" and "branch.1" of each DS2409 device, all are set to 0.
None of the 3 LEDs are lit on the hub (just the power LED).
Incidentally, I have a 12vdc PSU connected to the hub. On advice from
Hobbyboards, both the "unreg" and "reg" jumpers are in place on the hub.

Do I have to do something to "enable" any of the branches, for the devices on
them to become visible in OWFS ?

Or am I doing something else silly ?

There's little in the way of documentation on the 6-channel Hobbyboards hub, as
it seems to have been discontinued.

Thanks for any help.
