Hi, I?ve read the discussion about the new Hobby boards barometer from June and am wondering if there was a resolution?
I have the same barometer and see the same problem as previously discussed - the ?pressure? and ?temperature? values are always the same. If briefly unplug the barometer board from the bus, when it returns it shows a different value for both - but that value then remains on every query. I see the same result if I query /uncached/XX.XXXXXXXXXXXX/barometer/temperature (or pressure) - I don?t think it?s a caching issue. I have the value ?9? in barometer/polling_frequency - if I try writing another value to it, it seems to have no effect, and querying the polling_frequency again still gives the value 9. This is using owfs 3.1p0 on a CentOS 7 box, which in other respects works flawlessly with a couple of DS9490Rs running two busses with a couple of dozen DS1820s, Sheepwalk SWE3s, hobby-boards counters, etc. I?ve put this query to Eric Vickery at Hobby Boards but it doesn?t sound like it?s something he?s seen before. Cheers Hi George I have had exactly the same problem as you ! Really exactly the same behavior. I also had (and I am still having) a lot of other 1 wire devices on the same bus running perfectly. And I got the exactly the same behavior as you. I did not find any solution and just bought a cheaper (and lot even a lot more accurate) Bosch MCP 180 from Adafruit: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1603 I also was unhappy with the temperature accuracy from HB devices. So I bought a better one from Adafruit for Temperature alone (high accuracy): https://www.adafruit.com/products/1782 But all the other devices from HB are running perfectly with OWFS ! Best regards, Eric
