Well, yes. When I read the first two paragraphs, I was about to give you
exactly this answer from the last two paragraphs. This is due to a
conflict between the ds2490 kernel module and libusb.
There is no way we can fix this in owfs. When the w1 kernel module
claims a device, it will lock any user process out. The user either has
to disable the ds2490 kernel module or actually use it by specifying
--w1 instead of --usb.
