I don't think they can really use any Lasik footage ever when trying to sell the operation at $2500 per eye. They peel your eyelids back with little clips and then put a mechanical clamp thing on your eyeball itself. Then they slice the top off your eyeball with a very, very, very small microtome. Then they vapourise the exposed bit of your eye with the Eye Laser (you have to say it like Dr Evil) before putting the flap they microtomed off back over (that helps it heal faster apparently).
