Tried switching seating?... my theory here is that if your posture in terms of how you balance your weight when working is skewed towards the right or relies on your forearms resting on the desk, then basically you're activating your flexor digitorum profundus muscle way to much resulting in over compensating for balance / weight. Given we are doing repetitive tasks often in our day to day "battlestations" its easy to fall into the habit of posture being out of whack thereby if you have the option of switching seating around (go from office chair to ball and alternate bi-weekly) this in turn forces you to re-evaluate your posture in front of the computer and can often lead to distributing your balance / weight away from the forearm areas.
