Dear Lynne Sadly it would not surprise me abnd who ever advised this does not understand about the physiological make up of breast milk like those who swab mastitic breasts. At ABA conference presentation on b/f in art there was a cartoon of boiling the breast - taking sterilisation too far perhaps this is related?
