I saw this Dr Fleming on ? current Affair and he said 2/3 of babies who died of SIDS were in their cots.  Should we ban cots? What a thought. trish PS when I was exhausted after a marathon of night feeding after having my 3rd child, and finally got him to sleep in my bed, a midwife came in and didn't even ask - picked him up and back in his cot.  So tired I couldn't say anything!  Of course he woke up. Still angry and he's 12.
