Dear Alphia Bankstown is not midwifery led in nomenclature - but some very strong midwives there who do demonstrate leadership and women advocacy. The midwives have some supportive Registrars as well. Waafa Seimens is one of them. She would like to set up a homebirth team that she will support as soon as she gets her consultency.
