Hi Nicole - you realise that by breastfeeding your baby when and where he
needs to be nursed you are "normalising" breastfeeding. Poor silly woman she
is to be so embarrassed/ disgusted/ envious that you could do a natural
womanly thing, but yes her reaction is ridiculous and it must have set you
back a bit for a moment. I often see mums who are actually breastfeeding,
giving bottles when they are out -with the baby. Its sad they feel so
inhibited about breasts - I agree, there is work to be done - more public
breastfeeding, I say!!!
