There is a wealth of information about early midwifery in NSW in the book With Courage and Devotion ,  Adcock et al, published by the NSW Midwives Association in 1984. there are alot of copies of this around but if you are unable to find one contact the NSW Midwives Association at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Good luck in your search.
