This I understand believe me. I have  sister who has had unbelieveable
difficulty breastfeeding her first boy and then twins. She has had to
formula feed them all in the end. Of course some women need formula (until
milkbanking is a reality) but which one they pick can be easily decided by
what the hospital, midwife, doctor etc seems to be advocating. It is this
free advertising that I object to. The guidelines for human milk substitues
in Australia are so narrow that one is as good as the other and I feel the
parent should be able to decided which one based on their own decisions not
by which one I am inadvertantly sponsoring.
