Infopath file makes a local web service call. (SharePoint site and web service is deployed on a Windows 2008 R2 Server) It opens fine from one computer. When I open the same form another computer, it brings up authentication box, I click Cancel twice on the authentication box, it goes and form opens. What can be the reason. for this annoying box to come up. I have tested the webservice and can open/invoke it from the browser without seeing any authentication box. I tried adding the local webservice to intranet zone and it has not made any difference. >From where it works is Windows 2008R2. >From where authentication box comes is Windows 2003.
