Hi all, I've tried doing this via feature receiver, list event, embedding an instance in the payout page AND finally provisioning it via XML in the elements file for the page.
The last is probably the most straightforward but still suffers the problem of a duplicate web part being added to the page. Have looked at many solutions for this and don't much like any of them. At the moment I'm taking the path of least resistance and just deleting it from the layout after feature activation. Wondering if anyone else has come up with a method that doesn't involve unghosting the layout page. Regards, Paul
