Hey guys! Haven't really done anything on this subscription list yet, but
I have been trying out the DLC. I'm going to hopefully make a map soon,
but I have tried out a couple. I'll be subscribing to everyone and try out
their maps. Looking forward to getting the time and inspiration to make my
own.
Any suggestions for when I get started?

Some early advice I got when working in hammer - build the puzzle
backwards. Start with the objective, write down what events you want
to happen, and create the pathway that way. You can also create
multiple pathways this way if that's your thing.

PeTI is ridiculously easy. It feels like Google Sketchup for Portal

I wish I could make or even play maps, but I've got a mac, I'm lucky to
even have Portal. But as for suggestions, I make Minecraft labyrinths
instead, and I generally put mobs, traps, or falls in to add some
difficulty. The enemies don't have to be numerous, but placed strategically
(but also not impossible to get past). The traps, well have fun with that.
The falls don't have to kill the player, but if it's enough to hinder them/
make them start over again, it should be fine.

Well if you can play Portal 2 - which also plays in Mac - you should be
able to play Community Test Chambers.
Have you tried to use the PeTI?
