We use sendmail and a small program to translate messages to HTTP.
This solves our message board, mail alias, and other problems quite
simply.

I wouldn't want to use James or an all Perl mail server for the same
reason I don't want a pure Perl HTTP server.  Apache works, so does
sendmail (better than it used to, anyway ;-).
