The problem with posting a response directly on PerlMonks is that not all of us are there or want to keep up with two lists of the same discussion. To some degree splitting the discussion onto two forums is counter productive. I personally don't think those things require a response on PerlMonks and would prefer to keep all related discussion here..
I think it is fair to say that P5EE is in an early stage and these criticisms are valid although there may also be valid responses. So if Tilly doesn't want to be part of a project too early, then that's a fair opinion. In addition, I don't believe we need evangelism at the moment. What is really required is the work to take the project beyond the discussion stage. Stephen and some others (eg Brian Moseley) have already produced code that could easily fit..
