It's working now!
The only thing I'm not sure about is that it says in the docs that NVME 
disks are supported in Centos7 - 
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ssd-instance-store.html
so I guess I did something wrong to get these errors :\
