What is the current supported status of a 802.1x support on a Cisco 4500 switch
in Packetfence 3.3?
There is an open bug and an entry on the roadmap to implement 802.1x support
for the 4500:

But the "Supported network devices" list shows 802.1x supported for this device:
http://www.packetfence.org/about/supported_switches_and_aps.html
Meanwhile the "Network Devices Configuration Guide" only outlines port-security
setup for these switches.
