Hi all,
On occasion I'm finding that once my wired users finish the Xpress Connect
dot1x setup on their laptops they are given an IP address from the registration
vlan again, and it takes the user to reboot the device, or replug the network
cable to get it to initiate the radius conversation and enter them into the
production vlan.
It doesn't happen every time, and I'm awaiting feedback from a testing team to
see just how often this does occur, but I've certain seen it more than once.
We're using Cisco Catalyst 2950 switches.
I'm guessing that the switch isn't putting the port into the prod vlan after
the setup and therefore the radius conversation is never started, and the
switchport then just falls back to the registration vlan, but I've no idea why
this would happen sporadically.
Any ideas list?
