As always thanks for your assistance. removing the pid file and restarting the service fixed the issues.

Check the directory /usr/local/pf/var/run, if the radius pid is there then delete it and start radiusd with /usr/local/pf/bin/pfcmd service radiusd start

Thanks!

I am able to run it in debug mode with no apparent errors or starting errors but the freeradius binary does not start itself upon a restart. Might be able to get to the middle of this now. Thanks again!

Seems like the binary (Radiusd) is just missing. Thought about removing freeradius and reinstalling but it wants to uninstall packetfence at the same time. Tried to do Radius debugging but the binary seems to be missing as it is not found on the system volume.  Was working fine for a while and now nothing. The system thinks freeradius is running but when trying to restart packetfence it claims it is still running(after stopping packetfence). When telling the service to stop it acts like it stops. Am I overlooking something obvious. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
