In the gaming.pm just remove the logic that check the approved list of MACs
For me it was line 103 in gaming.pm
I changed it from
if (!valid_mac($mac) || !is_gaming_mac($mac)) {
to
if (!valid_mac($mac)) {
works like a charm.

Subject: Re: [PacketFence-users] PF 4.2.2 any MAC address via new (renamed)
Device-Registration portal
Thank-you Max.
That would be a start, adding OUI's to
/usr/local/pf/conf/allowed-gaming-out.txt, but allowing end-users to manually
register any MAC through https://YOUR_PORTAL_HOSTNAME/device-registration is
what we really need.

Look in /usr/local/pf/confallowed-gaming-oui.txt
This is the list of whitelisted MAC OUIs (one per line). Edit this file and
then restart some services -- I think just httpd.portal -- but I'm not entirely
sure.

p.s., I should have added, we have a need to network devices that do not have
browsers and are not gaming devices, one example is oscilloscopes.
I think I remember reading somewhere that the list of gaming MAC addresses was
in gaming.pm<http://gaming.pm/> but it doesn't seem to exist any longer.
