Ok, giving this a try now. I did create a portal and put a filter of Connection Type WIRED_MAC_AUTH which seems to at least get me into the registration network when I disable 802.1x. But, once in there, I'm not getting redirected to the portal, which is odd. Auto-registration is disabled, but everything else is the same as the default profile. I don't see a "use captive portal" button anywhere to force this action. > I try to use the default portal as little as possible, and create more > granular profiles that allow a different set of authorization sources etc. > It's also easier to maintain over time, as when adding something new (a > new SSID for instance) you can define a separate profile for it and not > have to modify the default which is already handling production traffic > for your existing network. Makes sense, I'll go ahead and start building granular profiles. How do I specify non-802.1x wireless traffic?
