I'm not sure which codec is involved in "Microsoft Teams" but the summery for chromium-ffmpeg-extra says "Extra ffmpeg codecs for browsers based on Chromium" the actual ffmpeg libraries libavcodec libavformat etc are required by chromium itself. If you know the specific codec you can find out what your ffmpeg provides with "ffmpeg -codecs" if you don't have the packman versions of libavcodec, the actual package that Tubleweed chromium uses is libavcodec58_91, then this may be your problem.
