CW Lite and the Debugger

All,

I am using CW Lite (while I wait for my copy of CW) and I am working my way
      through the tutorial.  I am trying to get the on device debugger
      working.  I dbl click the .psym file, tap the [shortcut]..2 strokes
      on the pilot and then press ok. I get an error message that says
      "Failed to connect to remote".



does CW Lite have this feature turned off or is there something I am
      missing...

BTW..I am using a SPT 1500 and it synchs with the palm desktop just fine.
