Ok, everybody's addressed the "... to the same place" aspect
of this question to death. But nobody has really addressed the
"return ..." aspect of the question, so here goes:
Why reinvent the wheel? Instruct your users to install "SwitchHack"
(which requires HackMaster, of course). It grants the capability
of returning to the previous application with a single stroke (and
to any of the last 10 with a stroke & a tap).
