And just to add $0.02 more, make sure you save information like this to
the "unsaved" prefs and not the "saved" prefs. Information like this does
NOT need to survive a reset, and shouldn't clutter up the saved prefs
because, as pointed out a while back on this list, saving something to
saved prefs unneccessarily not only slows down the HotSync process, but
also may force one more database (the SavedPrefs database) to be backed
up when it needn't have been (this is, admittedly, pending modification
by Palm of the Launcher so it doesn't make the same mistake).
