The date/time values are not reset after a hard reset. That info is
burried somewhere in the user docs. The implication was that it's
the only data not cleared. The thinking was that you may want to erase
the user name and even all the content, but date and time didn't change.
Another question is what the *starting* date/time values are after
leaving the batteries out for a long time. Not just a minute or so,
because my unit kept date and time values after not having batteries
for half-an-hour. I gave up testing it after that!
