Japanese DateToDOWDMFormat

Dear Gurus du Palm,

I heard a rumor that the Japenese OS DateToDOWDMFormat does not work, and
that the built-in Datebook has its own code to do this.

Is this true?

Where can we get the source code so we can make this function work on the
Japanese OS?
