Big deal.  They download the evaluation version from PalmSpot, play with it
a while and decide to register.  They attempt to contact you via the screwed
up information on PalmSpot and fail (but more likely they'll get the correct
registration information from your docs or "info" screen.)  Since the
PalmSpot information is screwed up, they go to some other download library
to get the correct information, register the software and send you money.

Alternate scenario:  They go to PalmSpot, don't know your product even
exists because you had it removed, don't register it and don't send you any
money.

Of course, all this assumes that you want people to register your
application.

BTW:  I'm not associated with PalmSpot in any way.  I'm just using them as
an example since the first message in this thread mentioned them.  Feel free
to insert the name of your favorite Palm software archive anywhere you see
"PalmSpot" in this message.
