Functionally it would be the same. There is a philosophical difference,
though. The keyboard interface SW on the device should handle the
"quit" keystroke (that would launch the launcher), since that
functionality is already built into the handheld. It's silly for app
developers to duplicate a function that's already built in to the
device.
