FWIW, it seems more of a 'house-of-cards' issue than one of testing.
The thing obviously started as a bad port from Mac. When you have a bad
foundation you never really 'fix' anything. Every piece of duct tape
you put on for one problem tends to create at least one unforeseen new
one.
The hard part in such a situation is to get everyone, engineers,
management, etc. to agree that it doesn't matter how much is invested or
whose 'fault' it is you got where you are. It simply is time to cut you
losses and rewrite from scratch. If Metrowerks ever does this, I wish
they'd start by splitting the compiler and linker out from the IDE
itself. Flaky integrated environments that act different on different
machines make controlled builds and configuration management a bear...

I also got this one under other circumstances... You're correct, I'd
like the
Windows fodler probelm to be the only one with CW6. It really looks like
fully
untested software...
