FWIW, I traced this out once for another developer. I found that I
could get the same error by exhausting system resources (dynamic heap)
on another unit. In other words, the libraries were present, but could
not be used because of insufficient free heap memory (or insufficient
contiguous free heap memory).

If you need more info, I could dig up the bug report from the database.
You might also try a 'hard' reset (not full!) on the unit. That will
bypass any patches, etc.

Good Luck,

Subject: "There are no Exchange Libraries available" error

One of my applications has a feature to beam address book records.
It works fine except on one of beta tester's Palm IIIx with the OS 3.1.

The device crashes with "There are no Exchange Libraries available"
error when the user tries to beam a record.

Everything works fine on my own PIIIx.

Any ideas what's wrong?
