If you just want to setup and quick ppp connection the
quickest and easiest way is to use Moccha W32 PPP. Setup
takes a minute. Only downside is that UDP is not fully
implemented so for example wap browsers wont work.

It is also possible to set up an RAS server by setting up
a dial up server in win 9x and making the contact via serial
port. One problem though. CHAP allways seems to fail. I've
debugged the raw PPP session and it revealed the connection
is made but the CHAP authentication allways fails for some
reason. I think this is a compactibility problem between
palm CHAP and MSCHAP? (is there any workaround 3com?).
