When you say "crashing on" what do you mean? If it returns an error, the
error code will tell you. If it's really crashing (like generating a bus
error), then you've probably trashed the heap and that's causing the OS to
crash.
Hook up PalmDebugger and get a stack trace, it'll tell you a lot.
